The Eagle God of the Sun, and by all accounts, the creator and the giver of life. The one god who created all of Terr'ahna. But some say he did not create the Mystimon, that they are an accident, having evolved after a crstalline meteor struck, spreading through out the land the life blood, Mystia. Others say that Mystia and Mystimon were all the work of Maryve, the Goddess of Life, as well as Raanu's lover.
Raanu is said to take the form of an eagle, watching over the land and the mortals, and protecting them in case Verszagro, his mortal enemy, is ever released from his prison in the Undergrave and comes to lay waste to all he has created.
