The Forgotten Gods

The forbidden. The forgotten. These deities are very dark and their religions even darker. And their worship is forbidden in nearly every nation across the world, under penalty of law.
According to legend, these deities were once apart of the Sacred Nexus, the realm of the gods, but when they rebelled and committed unthinkable crimes against the other gods and the mortals of Terr'ahna, they were cast out and exiled in the Great Exile. But Verszagro, who led the revolt, was imprisoned in the deepest circle of the Undergrave for all eternity.
In Terr'ahna, a ban was placed on these gods, and they were removed from the pantheon, in 406 1A. This led to a whole other kind of revolt, one by some of the followers of these religions, which in turn led to the first Dark War. Once the edict was passed, the old Southern Grand City of Almahna, Brae became involved in the unrest and what erupted from this was known as one of the darkest times in the history of Almahna, otherwise known as Dark War I. The war ended in 418 1A when the leader of Brae, Brazius, was defeated. But that is another story.
There are some who say that the Forgotten Gods were acting on part of the Ancient Ones. But there is a lot of debate regarding this.
