The lord of the Dreamscape, and the antithesis and counterpart to Sorn. People around the world often pray to Yain for good dreams and to keep Sorn away. Like Sorn, Yain is also classified as a Mystimon, of the mythical and legendary variety. Mythologies around the world are filled with legends of Yain, the Lord of Dreams, and none are more prevalent than the Quatrica Islands.
Yain is described in legend as a bird-woman-like being with golden and white feathers, and a violet plumage upon her head, dressed in golden robes. Yain is passive and peaceful. He does not wish to fight with Sorn, but she will to defend the dreams of all.
