God of Plague
Some people in the world have a weird fascination with death and disease. This is especially true of the Deep Sea Fey. In the middle of the civil war which splintered the Ocean Kingdoms ages ago, these enigmatic and alien beings emerged from the deepest and darkest depths of the Depthara Trench, spreading their religion of death and disease evangelically. Some embraced it. Others were revolted and disgusted.
Pazuum, the Deep Sea Fey god of plague and disease and death, is said to have the likeness of some bizarre alien-esque beast. When Haidorah rose from the Depthara Trenches, it was thought that this titanic beast was the inspiration of Pazuum, or perhaps even was Pazuum. It is unknown whether this is truly the case, but it is worth noting that Haidorah supposedly originates from outside of this world.
Whatever the case, the Deep Sea Fey are engrossed in this religion. They believe that only plague and disease can deliver the world to true paradise. They believe that darkness must cleanse the world. It could even be said that the entire Deep Sea Fey culture is immersed in this religion. Sometimes they even come to the surface, attempting to spread their religion far and wide. Most laugh them off. But some weirdly are converted. But who are we to write off what a person believes in, no matter how weird and creepy it is.
