Also known as the frogfolk, Azume are shy and cautious. They don't like being drawn into the affairs of others. They think things through, usually to the extreme and sometimes overthinking things. But despite their outlook and small stature, they will take bold and noble action when necessary.
Azume are primarily native to Olympus, creating villages and structures up in the treetops even rivaling that of the Gelvaran. But their reliance on simple tools and cunning has led to the perception that they are primitive. However they are more advanced than others give them credit for.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Azume resemble humanoid tree frogs with oversized eyes, wide mouths, and gangly physiques. Their small frames and large toes grant them excellent grip while climbing, while the bright colours of their skin provides amazing camouflage that varies with their home environment.
Azume grow quickly and reach adult size of about 2 feet in height about 3 to 5 years after hatching, though they're only considered adults around the age of 15. They rarely live past 50 years. But some can live as long as 100 years.

They lead a sophisticated hunter-gatherer lifestyle and rely on community cooperation as well as diverse and dispersed populations. They have lived a reclusive lifestyle for hundreds of years, so reclusive that even the Gelvaran had no idea they existed until now. But the emergence of void terrors and the Scions of the Void has forced them to come out of hiding.
