Galactic standards rose from the most dystopian Zone in Luridity to cling to planetary societies in passing. Ways of life shared with friends, enemies and strangers, just like an overplayed song that chafes one's memory and yet...will never let you down.
From medical necessities to elective enhancements, cybernetics are a common occurrence in the Centralvest Zone of Luridity, and becoming more popular as the Zone's technological influence makes its way across the stars.
Lootbox Eve is a free-for-all of epic proportions in the Centralvest Zone of Luridity. But that's what happens when you put a bunch of wrapped gifts in an open market, tell people they're free and that everyone should ready, set...GO GET THOSE PRESENTS!
A very special toy with very special customization capabilities. It's fully functional, and *potentially* anatomically correct. NSFW, sexual content.
VaultRings are biologically encoded, titanium-plated rings which are worn by more wealthy folk. Light, simple, stylish, and secured from any would-be thief! (Luridity contains NSFW content; this particular article contains a couple of lewd puns.)
Hey y'all! I'm Dani and I write inclusive, wholesomely spicy cyberpunk romance as well as interactive sci-fi adventures.
I have 3 novels and 2 short stories published under my Cera Daniels penname Amazon which I am serializing and reworking in setting and tech levels to fit into my Luridity galaxy here on WorldAnvil, rebranded with A. Dani. (yes, I am a Dani!) :) I'm also publishing TWO new serials, so if you'd like to Follow along on that revision journey, you can do so at
https://reamstories.com/inluridity
You can follow on Ream and get early access for FREE and get it even earlier (as well as scooping up extra bonuses!) by supporting at any of the paid subscription tiers, just like a Patreon, but for an author and her BOOKS. Woo! I am so grateful to have enablers who giggle at Luridity's terrible puns and who love the characters who occupy its worlds. :D
There's also a character creation workshop on Gumroad! *insert kermit-keyboard-flail*
I participated in NaNoWriMo from 2006 to 2023, and was a Municipal Liaison there for 7 years in the middle. I was a part-time freelance editor, a technical writer and software QA manager for over 15 years. And for 10 years, I helped other writers get past overwhelm to get their books written and their project plans solid via writing workshops and one-on-one coaching. Now, I continue to do some editing and formatting ebooks for a select number of clients, and otherwise focus primarily on my own worldbuilding and books for my Luridity Galaxy, where love is love and life is lived!
My favorite writing process is world-building, followed only by getting to know a new character's voice. Both involve me talking to myself, my husbando waking up with sticky notes on his forehead (hey, it was once! no need to keep me banned from writing in bed!), and my kidlet staring at me like my brain's exploded out of my head and bounced around the room. I just tell her creativity is messy. :D
I caffeine and give virtual hugs.
