Mystimon Saga is an epic tale that spans many ages and focuses on the drama of character's lives, their exploration of the world around them, and the political intrigue that entails. It features epic battles and bold action between the mystical creatures that inhabit the world alongside the characters, and between the nations of the world. The characters battle against age-defying evils and sadistic cults, as well as titanic legendary dragons. The player characters are members of a guild of adventurers and explorers who travel the globe to discover ancient dungeons and collect the magical ancient artefacts left behind by a long gone civilization.
Characters can be stout dwarvish Vikarahns, elegant elvish Fey, aquatic Sea Fey, cat-like Sabertooth, giant Ahihana, the mysterious energy beings the Ananahki, the plant-like Costori, mischievous Goblurins, and many more playable ancestries. Characters can "imprint" the magical creatures known as Mystimon and call them to their aid, and call upon the raw magical energy that flows through out all of nature known as Mystia comprising of the seven colours: Spirit, Darkness, Element, Water, Light, Earth, and Wind. Many different kinds of religions and gods span the world, such as the Old Gods like Raanu and Vedoraal, the ancient Monk Orders, and the Savage Gods of the Kongor.
