Across Almahna, there are various points of interest which may attract all people alike, the most primary of which is the Grand City of Calrune, capital of Almahna.
Almahna is split into two regions by a large, heavily active volcanic mountain at the centre of the continent, called Mount Hellfire, likely named for the creatures which seem to spawn from its lava pits, Hell Dragons.
As the mountain peaks extend from the western and eastern coasts, with no break in sight, there is only one truly reliable passage from Northern to Southern Almahna, the Dark Vault Cavern. However bandits tend to camp out in the Dark Vault Cavern, making passage especially tricky. As such, points of interest listed here will be separated by region, either Northern or Southern Almahna.
Arctica
The northern polar continent, which sits upon the top of the world in the coldest, iciest reaches of our world. There are some cultures and civilizations which can survive in this icy climate, and have for generations. But for the most part, this land is cold and desolate. Blizzards and wind storms are a frequent phenomenon here. However it bares the marks and remnants of a time long past, from ages ago.
Arcticus
Also known as the 'Shattered Lands' by many, Arcticus is the south pole of the world. It is an archipelago of smaller islands for the most part that once was one whole continent over a thousand years ago. It still bears the scars of the fateful day when a massive chain reaction in the Mystia Crystals that once were in high supply in the mines here caused a massive explosion, shattering the continent. Those crystal mine entrances are still here but the majority of the mines collapsed in the explosion.
Atlantea
The nation and continent of Atlantea was besieged by hordes of undead 2 years ago. Since then, recovery has been slow. And now there are reports of strange and bizarre occurrences across the land, but in particular around an area known as the World Tear. . .
Calrune
Celesteon
Homeland of the Yeglaw and the ancestral home of the Dragla, Celesteon consists of a chain of islands floating in the air, up in the upper atmosphere of Terr'ahna. No one truly knows why or how Celesteon floats in the air, mostly because the Yeglaw have closed their borders and currently, no airship can reach it.
Emerald Port
Emerald Port is a fishing town that grew and expanded through trade routes with Olympus.
Evergreen City
The capital city of Olympus, built on the northern coast, Evergreen City gets its name for how some buildings are actually built within hollowed out trees, or built into the trees. The city blends seamlessly between urban and natural.
Gothica
Gothica. A dark, shadowy land, to the west where sunlight can not reach. The land is a dead, rocky wasteland, with strange storms which appear at a moment's notice. It is the homeland of the Gola, as well as a cult which heralds the coming of the Apocalypse, the Sechi Legion. Such dark, foul things that come from this shadowy land. It is also home to many dark creatures, including some not even known to science.
The Gola keep a close eye on the many human villages and settlements that dot the land, holding an iron fist over all the land. Only the Sechi Legion appear to have been able to grow a massive city in the deep south of Gothica, seemingly without notice from them. They attract many people to their city with a hope of salvation, a hope of paradise, to be delivered unto them by the great God of the Apocalypse, Verszagro. Such promises are quite attractive, especially to those living in poverty at the hands of the ruthless Golan Empire.
But there is light. Albeit a small one. There are slight whispers of a secret human coalition which vows to deliver those poor people into the light, across the northern border into Atlantea where they might finally see sunlight. Where they might finally receive help from the Maji Guard. But could it be true? And could the rumours of Goblurin helpers be true?
Highwind
The ancestral homeland of the Vikarahns. They share their land with Cowins as well, but according to legend, the Cowins came from somewhere else. . .
Konaset
The capital city of Atlantea, and the site of the deadly Battle of Konaset, when Atlantea took its final stand against the hordes of the Undead Kings in 2739 3A.
Olympus
The Fey homeland of Olympus. Filled with vast forests and jungles and grassy plains. To the south though lies a dark region no one dares venture. It is known as the Shadow Wood.
Planar Map
A rough sketch of the multiverse as scholars believe it to be.
Quatrica Islands
An island chain far to the west of Almahna, south of Atlantea.
Sapphire Port
Snowtop City
The Vikarahn capital built atop the tallest mountains in Highwind. Due to this, it is actually built vertically, with multiple levels, instead of horizontally like most cities built on the surface.
Terr'ahna World Map
Terra System
People have been observing the stars for thousands of years. Some cultures have even built their structures to line up with constellations. And for many generations, scholars have theorized that there are more worlds like Terr'ahna, even going so far as to map a few certain stars that seem to move around the sky through out the year and are ever present. Other cultures have formed entire theologies off of the constellations and planets.
