Puffet

You are a Puffet, a small, basic construct that at one time laid lifeless strewn about ancient Alchemist ruins on Celesteon, a floating island high in the sky following Terr'ahna's air currents in the upper atmosphere. No one knows what the Alchemists created Puffets for, very little is known about their culture and history. All anyone knows is that at one time, only about a year ago, there were millions of them strewn about the ancient ruins, some collecting dust in museums or workshops or even in Yeglaw family homes as curiosities or children's toys, until suddenly one day, they all began to spark to life, manifesting a strange consciousness.   It all seemed to start on one particular day, at the stroke of midnight, on the 25th of Raanu, 2742. The day of the Convergence, a planetary alignment of all of the planets in Terr'ahna's solar system. That day is when they began to spark to life, or "Pop up," as most Puffets like to say. And since then, more and more have begun to awaken, and more surely will.   Most commonly made of cloth, wicker, and wood, it has been a wonder how any of these strange curiosities have survived all of these long centuries since the Alchemists' disappearance. Their size and appearance vary, but nearly all of these strange curiosities, Puffets, are humanoid in shape and between 1 to 3 feet tall. If fact, they often look like dolls or puppets or toys that one would give a child, and some in fact had given them to children, innocently. But while terrifying and shocking to parents to suddenly find their child's doll or toy suddenly come to life, the children couldn't have been happier! In fact, some Puffets have ended up staying with the child, seeing little need to head out into the world, while others do indeed head out into the world to find their place in it, while always referring to their former owners as friends, and once in a while returning home to a joyous reunion with their friends.
