Orsine
Orsines are a jolly and peaceful and caring people found in the unspoiled wilds of Celesteon. They treat all strangers as though they were life-long friends, offering food and shelter and drink without hesitation. In disputes, they will fiercely defend their friends.
Small ursid creatures living on Celesteon alongside the Yeglaw and Puffets, Orsines, or otherwise known as Tenderbears, approach the world with care and thoughtfulness. They place a great deal of value on family, friendship, and of course food. Lots and lots of food. As well as drink. Their favourite holiday involves all of the above in equal proportions.
They love to sleep and will doze for days and days on end. In the event they make a new friend or want to express their affection, they stuff their pockets with tons of potential gifts. Though they are creatures of peace and love, when friends or family are threatened, they are fiercely protective. And they make a living being an annoyance to those Yeglaw who find them irritating. Indeed, if they know their antics drives someone nuts, they will do all they can to annoy them as much as possible, sometimes to a fault.
Tenderbears are known and infamous for their love of food - particularly fish, nuts, fruits, root vegetables, and of course honey. Lots and lots of honey. Bakers across Celesteon attempt to recreate their pies and honey cakes. Tenderbears will have six meals through out the day. But brunch is the most sacred. It is traditionally eaten outside, under the sun while seated upon a special ceremonial blanket placed over the ground. This meal is accompanied by music and karaoke. They love karaoke. All guests are expected to bring something to pass or share, and to sing in the karaoke, and then the event is concluded with a leisurely afternoon nap.
If you want a character who is friendly, loving, and compassionate, and not afraid to embrace their silliness, you might consider a Tenderbear.

Naming Traditions
Orsines enjoy names that are expressive of their own likes, personalities, and callings. An Orsine's birth name is chosen by their parents or elder shortly after they are born, which they are called by until they come of age and choose their own adult name. Orsines will rarely divulge their birth names to anyone else.
Common Dress Code
Orsines dislike constraining clothing. Some go as far as to completely shun clothing altogether unless they are in the company of non-Orsines.
When necessary, most prefer to wear long tunics, skirts, and loose-fitting robes. They often weave buttons or jewels into their soft-fur. To 'dress-up' they might throw on an over-sized floppy hat, and they will often sew extra pockets onto their clothing to hold extra gifts or snacks.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Every Orsine is compelled towards friendship and dissolving disputes. They follow their own laws and customs and while they respect different cultures, they have difficulty adjusting to the laws of 'civilization'.
Orsines worship a myriad of different gods. Those who especially enjoy fermented juices, revelry, and adventure will find comfort in Conflee. Venerate and wizened Orsines often turn to Majin or Nivyn to guide the community. Those who believe sleep and music to be sacred will beseech Debrial to watch over them. Other caretaker Orsines who care for and protect the Mystimon of the wilds might pray to Phantos.
