Mystia Casting

You draw upon magical energy which flows through your veins, and through all things. You can cast spells using the Cast a Spell activity, and you can supply material, somatic, and verbal components when casting spells.
At 1st level, choose a Tradition from either Force, Divine, or Primal. Then select a Colour available from that Tradition. For Force, you may select Spirit. From Divine, you can choose from Light, Earth, or Wind. And from Primal, you may choose from Darkness, Element, or Water. Your chosen Colour becomes your alignment, and you may only learn or prepare spells from that Colour's spell list. As a sorcerer, your Tradition is gained through your chosen Bloodline instead, but you still select your Colour in the same fashion; and as a Psychic, your Tradition is Force.
As a Cleric, you select your first colour from the list of Follower Alignments under your Deity's description. At 5th level and 15th level, you may select an additional Colour from the chosen Tradition (or Deity's Follower Alignments) to become an alignment for you.
You gain a pool of Mystia to cast your spells equal to your spellcasting ability modifier times your level. As a sorcerer or bard, you cast spells learned in your Spell Repertoire, as a wizard, you cast spells studied in your Spellbook, and as a cleric and druid, you cast spells from your Colour Spell Lists. The Mystia cost to cast a spell is based on its spell level, as shown on Table 1.1: Mystia Casting. Cantrips have no cost to cast. The highest spell level of spells you may cast is determined by your class level, as shown on Table 1.2. Your Mystia may not be depleted below 0. When you make your daily preparations, all of your Mystia is refreshed. In this setting, all spells are considered spontaneous, regardless of the class.
For example, as a 2nd level Wizard with a +4 Intelligence modifier, you gain a pool of 8 Mystia.
Some of your spells require you to attempt a spell attack roll to see how effective they are, or have your enemies roll against your spell DC (typically by attempting a saving throw). Your spell attack rolls and spell DC's use your class key ability. Details on calculating these statistics appear on page 447 of the Pathfinder Second Edition Core Rulebook.

10th Level Spells*

These are the highest and most powerful spells, with only very few casters in all the world with the ability to wield them. At 19th level, your class will grant you the ability to cast a single 10th level spell once per day. You must complete a rest and your daily preparations before you may cast one again. You may take a class feat to cast 10th level spells a second time per day.

Bounded Mystia Casting

For some, Mystia Casting is limited somewhat, such as the Magus and Summoner classes or for characters multiclassing into spellcasting multiclass archetypes. These classes have unlocked secrets of Mystia Casting that go back to ancient times, but their training into such paths have limited their Mystia growth. Characters of these classes have pools of Mystia equal to half their level rounded up times their ability modifier. For example, Jacelyn, a 5th level Magus, has a Strength modifier of +4, so his Mystia is 12 (3 x 4 = 12).

Psychic Casting

Telepaths are quite different from spellcasters. They do not use Mystia as spellcasters use, they instead use psychic energy known as Psi Mystia. Psychics use Psi Slots (Spell Slots) instead of gaining Mystia. Also, Psychics do not gain any other Colours or Traditions. They are exclusively Force Casters. Your Tradition is always Force.

Link Mystia Casting

Animists don't have a single pool of Mystia, instead, their Mystia is split between themselves and their Apparition, since they can also cast spells through their Apparition. Animist characters have half their total Mystia while their Apparition has the other half. For example, Keta, a 4th level Animist has a total of 22 Mystia. So she has 11 Animist Mystia, and 11 Apparition Mystia.
