Maji Guard Ranks
This force comprises of men and women who go into service to serve the Allied Nations. They are paid wages dependent on their rank. Some are volunteers. Their primary code is to serve and protect all in the Allied Nations and to uphold the laws of each nation they are in service for. The Maji Guard is a global military force that also polices and upholds the law. Volunteers sign up for a six month tour of duty, while others give their lives to the force.
Qualifications
Anyone who signs up for the Maji Guard, whether volunteer or permanent, need to first go through basic training before applying.
One must be noble of spirit, fair in judgment, honest in action, and honourable to their word.
Appointment
In order to rise through the ranks, a Maji Guard officer must attain seals from a high ranking officer or the lord of the local area. Seals are attained from committing especially heroic acts. These Seals are stamped on the officer's Edict papers and are made of a special wax from a Scourge hive.
Duties
The duties of the Maji Guard is to serve and protect the peoples of the Allied Nations and uphold the laws of each nation.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include patrolling the streets of an assigned city or post, keep watch for unscrupulous or suspicious folk, and to light the signal fires at the first sign of invading foreign armies.
Benefits
All officers receive a salary depending on their rank.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Should an officer ever commit an act against the interests of Terr'ahna or the local area, or evil in nature, and they are convicted in a court of law, they are stripped of one seal and given a black mark on their Edict papers. If all of their seals are stripped, they are dismissed from duty. If they have more than three black marks, they are arrested, dismissed from duty, and imprisoned. Depending on the severity of their actions, they may be executed.
