In this setting, Colours, or types/schools of magic, take the place of alignment. Everyone has at least one, though spellcasters can eventually gain more than one, and many creatures also have more than one. For example, a Gargoylune is both Earth and Darkness. Each alignment is associated with a damage type, such as Element-Flame, which is associated with fire damage, or Light is associated with radiant damage. So any damage of these types, as noted in Damage Types and Colours, dealt by spells or spell like abilities, are considered Aligned Damage.
Every deity in this setting also has one or more Colours that it aligns with. Austrione, God of Darkness, is aligned with Darkness for instance, and Raanu is aligned with Element-Flame, Light, and Wind.
All alignment based spells still work, they are just changed to work with Colours instead of the core alignments. Detect Good or Detect Evil is instead Detect Alignment, and could work to detect any colour.
A Champion or Cleric's abilities which rely on alignment and deal aligned damage depending on their deity, instead are based on colour. So a Champion of Raanu might take either Element-Flame, Light, or Wind, and deal a type of damage with their Smite ability based on that colour they chose.
