The Spring Flair Festival

The first of many festivals celebrated through out the year in the Quatrica Islands, this festival celebrates the birth of new life and the start of the Quatrican new year. In the Islands, it is believed that the new year actually begins at the start of spring, with the birth of new life. In fact, in the Quatrica Islands, life and nature are very large parts of the culture. In the midst of the festival, which traditionally lasts a week, there are parades every night, and the streets are lined with stalls with games, food, and drink, all of which are free for all. At the end of the festival, there is a feast held in the honour of the Grand Kuna and the seven Kunas of the Quatrica Islands, as people from all across the Islands bring gifts and other things to pay tribute to the Kunas, the leaders of the Quatrica Islands.
