Gargoylune
These creatures are ambush predators, able to camouflage themselves as statues until unsuspecting prey crosses into their path, and they strike without warning. They are demonic creatures with batlike wings, horns upon their head, piercing red eyes which appear as stone when they camouflage themselves, and a long forked tail. In their active form their skin is leathery and grey, but then changes to a texture similar to stone in camouflage form. When they attack, their speed is blindingly fast, and they make no sound. It is nearly impossible to detect them, unless one knows specifically where to look.
However, they do have their weaknesses. As they are built to be ambush predators, getting them into a direct face to face confrontation puts them at a disadvantage. They're best when they can simply continue to hide in the shadows, camouflaging themselves in plain sight, and striking out without warning then returning to their hiding place. They also don't do too well against Earth and Light colour magics.
